An Investment That Shouldn’t Be Based On Price Alone

Weddings, beautiful weddings, they’re brilliant, they’re pure and they’re extremely fun, they can however be extremely expensive events and this can make you want to cut corners. It’s easy to book everything that’s cheap but you’ll only notice that it wasn’t the best decision when the day has passed and it’s too late and you’re stuck with hundreds of poor quality images and terrible quality prints.

We’re going to give you six reasons why you should have a photo booth and why your shouldn’t go cheap on your choice.

  1. Entertainment. Your day is probably 14-18 hours from start to finish and if you take into account preparation and travel time for your guests that’s a long time and they will definitely want to break it up with different activities. Whilst eating and drinking can be fun you want to plan for several elements to help your guests pass the time and a photo booth is an awesome way to inject fun into one of those free moments.

  2. Tangible gifts. A lot of weddings don’t offer their guests gifts so why not add a photo booth to your entertainment package and give them something fun to do and something awesome to take away in the form of an epic high quality printed photograph. It’s a memory of the day that they can touch and enjoy forever, they’ll also be able to share it with everyone for years to come.

  3. As a bride or groom the day will go very quickly and you won’t be able to see everything that happens so having a photo booth gives you a great chance to collect images of everyone to look back at and take in the party moments you missed.

  4. Similar to above, you’ll get the best guest book ever in the form of a scrapbook. Our clients always say that the photo booth scrapbook was the better of their two guest books as it’s more fun, more honest (thanks to a few beers/cocktails) and generally has a more genuine feel than the traditional wedding guest book.

  5. Not all photo booths are created equally, in the same way you chose your photographer carefully you should choose your photo booth in the same way, after all poor quality, poorly lit images with cheap props aren’t nice to look at and you won’t get the lasting value from your investment in the years to come. First and foremost, look for great quality images then the photo booth you’d like at your event, also remember that open-air booths are better at bringing the fun into the room and help get everyone in the party mood.

  6. Don’t forget to go in the booth yourself, there is nothing more fun than sharing moments with loved ones and being silly together.
