Quick tips: Five things to consider when booking a photo booth.

The idea of booking a photo booth is great but it’s easy to get it wrong and end up with something that doesn’t work for your event, your venue and your theme. Here are our five top tips for ensuring you find the best supplier and best photo booth for your event.

  1. Image quality is king! Forget everything else, if the photos aren’t of epic studio quality then find another supplier. Afterall that is the whole point of having a photo booth, right?

  2. Print quality. similar to the first but this is the bit that the guests get to take away and the thing you’ll look at forever in your scrap book. The prints want to be high resolution and feel good in your hand. Tangible is the word!

  3. Open-air or enclosed? This is very important, our preference for most events is an open-air photo booth as it really brings the fun to everyone and creates a spectacle out of it by allowing people to get involved and really be part of it wether they’re in the photo session or merely watching.

  4. Props. High quality props, quality wins over quantity every time. A few good props will always get used.

  5. Backgrounds and the style. Does the background match your overall theme, does it look good in the final images? There will be a lot of images with the background in (approx 300+ for your average event).

We hope that helps you get the best booth for your event!
